Stoked to share that this year my studio @weareinhouse is hosting not one, but two freaking sessions at SXSW! We’ll be taking the stage twice to talk about design, typography, and how we can reject bland-as-hell branding in one of the spaces that most desperately needs it: climate.
Registration opens TODAY (Thu Feb 19), and for each session we’re joining forces with absolute powerhouses:
✨ Alphabet of Tomorrow: Trends in Typography✨
Ilana Griffo + Katie Johnson of @goodtype (and the Kernference and the Typecast podcast!) and I will talk a bit about our hybrid design studio practices, spanning conferences, podcasting, products, exhibitions like @hundred_points ; but mostly about what you should expect to see (and learn) in 2026 and beyond if you have an interest in typography. And gossip.
🌎 Unbland Your Climate Brand 🌎
With Michu Benaim + Jessica Appelgren of @palmetto.energy — a visual deep dive into how bold design powers climate tech brands to stand out and grow. Because if climate tech is going to change the world, it needs to attract customers first, right? Right?
I honestly believe that the value of a conference like this one is leaving with insights into what the future holds, expanding our horizons and maybe gaining a slight advantage. We are having a blast working with our partners for each session and are seriously excited to share our research and insights with y’all!
Again registration opens on TODAY, and here are the links you want:

🖍️Check out this documentary that follows designer and curator Lope Gutiérrez-Ruiz as he prepares for the “Hundred Points” exhibition that opened this fall at the VAC. We’re so proud to call POSCA and TED our partners and Lope our colleague.
As a TED Fellow and 2025 TED and POSCA Artist-in-Residence, Lope Gutiérrez-Ruiz went on a global journey from Austin to São Paulo, Helsinki, and Cairo, where he collaborated with local artists to uncover shared expressions of creativity and connection. The culmination of his “Hundred Points” work celebrates the power of human imagination, community, and the art that binds us together across cultures.
This Summer and Fall were amazing! In particular I’m so grateful to be the TED + POSCA residency artist for 2025! This photo is just a behind the scenes look at the short film I worked on with @ted and @posca_usa , now available on TED.com. More soon!

Not one to be posting my face on main, but today the beautiful video shot by @bradwtf for my @posca_usa and @ted artist-in-residency for Hundred Points came out!
Brad traveled with me to Finland and Brazil, and shared tons of moments with the many amazing designers and creative folk that are part of the Hundred Points exhibition, this short video is just a fraction of everything done!
Thanks to @weareinhouse@fuseboxlive@visualartscenter@hundred_points@tedfellow@michubenaim and all the studios involved in the show for being the best, but special thanks to uni / POSCA for being such supporters of this mad journey exploring the future of graphic design
Watch the video linked below and in bio. Or better yet, visit the exhibition at @visualartscenter — the show is up until January!

We had so much fun the past two weeks diving deeper into design through two of our public programs, Hundred Points: Studio Talks and PechaKucha 40.
Hundred Points: Studio Talks brought together four international design studios for a series of conversations and presentations on the current landscape and future of global graphic design.
A completely full crowd for PechaKucha 40 saw ten presenters give short presentations on topics ranging from architecture and Austin’s new brand identity to photography and a brownie-baking business.
Our public programs may be done for the year, but stop by any time Tuesday – Saturday from 12-5 PM to see our current shows, including “Hundred Points” before they close at the end of the year!
