WORLDBUILDING (2/3) ...can't stop, won't stop, worldbuilding! Today we're taking Unreal Engine's 5.2 Procedural Content Generator for a spin... it's pretty much like Blender Geometry Nodes but with all that UE goodness thrown in.... I approve! No dancers were injured during the making of today's WIP :P #firehazard There's plenty that needs tweaking (legs getting chopped off, give linear a whirl, adjust light settings, perhaps make it a bit more atmospheric etc etc etc), but... I think I'm on the right track, this scene will be perfect for one of the mini arty shorts (which one?!?! hmmm 😋). I think I need to make a t-shirt that says 'render lil, render often' because it makes all the difference.. but give it a month or two and I'll forget that lil bit of wisdom. Elements :: One Take :: Winged Dancers (aka #BTS) Here's one of the takes I did for the winged dance performance section. I wanted to dip in and out of focus, as I circled around the performance.... I knew that only a few brief seconds would make it into the final cut and ideally I'd want that section to pull into focus, but I wanted to give myself options re which section(s) to use. The animations are from Mixamo. ....................... I was about to IG post the short animation I did for the Epic bootcamp, went to look for it and found these two videos hiding in a folder... I had done them to go alongside the final 30 second short animation... um, so... ta-da 😋 [1/3] #alttext = Medium shot, 16:9, a camera moves slowly and circles a winged dancer with multiple heads, arms and wings.
