I am a mother. A proud single mother.
From early on I realized motherhood does not come with a manual. There’s no warranty, no perfect answers, no roadmap & no way to prepare for the weight & beauty of it all. Some days feel quite effortless, while others are not easy at all. I wear many hats each day & I carry most of the load on my own shoulders — but without question, being a mother is the most rewarding role I’ll ever hold.
I hope I can teach my son to follow his heart with confidence, to stay true to who he is & to know that if he puts his best foot forward, it will always be enough. I want him to grow up believing in himself, even when life feels uncertain or unsteady.
When I first made the move into real estate, I was asked, “How could I do it?” - balance work & motherhood on my own? I was told once, “As a client, I would never work with a single mother.” To that, I laughed. A single mom is resilient & is resourceful. My child reminds me to keep going, to lead with integrity & to never give up.
So, to all of us mothers who have ever been placed under a glass ceiling - that includes caregivers, sisters, aunts, teachers, mentors, moms-to-be, or those who wish-to-be - I see you! I salute you! And I will always stand with you! Because those who mother, know no bounds.

Life has been busy lately. Not just for me but I think for all of us. Baseball, late evening walks, tax season, July/Aug planning, shopping for birthday, baby or wedding gifts, spring cleaning, bike rides, patio hangs & everything in between.
In the real estate world, the market has bounced into action. There’s people buying up into something larger & others entering for the first time. Interest rates were held last week for the third consecutive rate hold this year. While housing prices remain relatively stable, it seems like sellers are motivated to get listed knowing that it all slows down when Summer hits. The number of homes currently on the MLS in Van is nearly 40% above the 10 year seasonal average. With a 14% sales increase since April 2025, we’re seeing the most movement & some good ol’ competition in detached, single family homes.*
