our friends came over to camp, it rained a bunch saturday, we worked on my suspension a lot, we found rocks, got found by woodland creatures (there was a fuckin columbia white tail in the yard and the trail grouse was still grousin), I finally got my cathlamet shirt, wrecked a bunch trying to dial in my suspension (worth it, it’s so plush now lol), me and jimmy found out that the best prime rib is in cathlamet, kaarlo gave me clutch homework, and I think that’s it lol how was your weekend

started as my friend inviting me to ride dirt bikes to get me out of a funk - now he does it all. beyond grateful for everything you do, who you are, and how you are. thank you for every bit of patience you’ve shown me over this past year while I learn to try to keep up with you 😂❤️
went riding on New Years Day and did not do my best at all. I let fear get the best of me in a lot of situations, including this down hill spot where I just got right into my head and grabbed a handful of front brake. here’s to another year of learning to conquer fear 🥳

2025 hands down was one of the best years of my life. So many things happened because I did the hard things - I quit nicotine this year, I successfully completed 75 Hard, I learned (and tbh am still learning) how to ride a dirt bike, and I met a lot of really cool people and fostered some relationships that I know will be lifelong.
My heart is full of gratitude as the calendar turns to 2026 - may everyone’s next year be full of abundance and blessings. For me, the 2026 words of the year are discipline, intention, focus, and clarity.

Earlier this year I was gifted a Canon 5D MKIII (literally the camera I drooled over when I was 16) by a friend, and I decided to make it my trail riding camera. Although it’s only been on a few rides I’ve managed to get some pretty fun portraits out of it.
These photos are of Briseis, a girl who can thread a needle on a bike and has the best line choices on the trail. She calculates every move she makes and I’ve spent a lot of this year riding behind her as I learn. I had the pleasure of taking her senior photos last month, which you’ll probably see on my photo account (@allissa.photo ) soon.
My ultimate goal for 2026 is combining the two things I love the most - portrait photography and motorcycles - and if you’re interested in getting your picture taken with your bike let me know (I don’t discriminate)
One of my New Years Resolutions is to share more of the rad photos I take. I think this has been my resolution for like 10 years now, but I figure with a head start we might be alright.
