20 years ago Martin Stöbich and I released “M185 - Soundscapes And Coincidences” on vinyl. Initially intended to be a one-off, it later evolved into the band M185, which released four albums between 2009 and 2020. With all the wonderful memories from the band years, Soundscapes And Coincidences is still one of the moments I am particularly proud of.
Recorded in my living room - Martin on bass and me on guitar - we both shared one amp, one synthesizer and one microphone. Chris Gusel mixed the album, Sig Ganhoer designed the beautiful cover artwork. They both joined the first iteration of the live band.
For the 20 years anniversary we put the album on all streaming platforms. Have a listen! @martin_stoebich@hellmutang@heinzwolfster #m185 #sigganhoer #chrisgusel #vienna @roland.reiter.art@diiciidii@yoerg #wolframleitner
While I’m busy working on new #HellMutang music, one of my older tracks has found its way to a new audience. This is thanks to radio presenter and DJ @garythetall , who played „Fade Out“ in his show on @nts_radio last night and gave a very generous introduction to my musical endeavours. As a big fan of Gary’s show, I was flattered being part of #TheReignSet.
Baby Blau is out now!
Soft Orchestra verschmelzen in „Baby Blau“ tief sitzende Synthlines und markante House-Grooves. Ein Spiel aus Licht und Schatten, aus grellem Glitzer und verwaschenem Baby Blau.
