Been too busy taming llamas for our latest sauna campaign for @clearlight_life to bother with social media. In fact, we briefly considered a pivot from ads to farm life, but vacant land in Collingwood is out of our price range so we’re back and we’re here to tell you that you should all buy an outdoor sauna because then you can escape to zen mode without investing in a pricey inner city hobby farm.
Last week, @elle_bullen stood in front of the Young Bullets and shared some wisdom on making a career in advertising (including, but not limited to, “deadset legends do this job”, and “the government will not forget about your HELP debt, even if you do”).
Linkedin loves predicting the impending death of our industry, but our night chatting to the next generation suggests it's all going to be okay. There's about to be a whole lot of life injected into it, if @deakinuniversity 's crop is anything to go by. Kudos Ben Crockett, Richie Barker, and Nick McDonald.
@elle_bullen said in her speech that she’s putting this recognition down to her lucky undies, but unless she’s been wearing the same ones every day since she first won B&T Women in Media Creative of the Year in 2016, we reckon there may be a bit more to it. It’s the fourth time she’s received this award. Across four agencies and over the course of a decade, our very own EB has turned up, cracked gags and been a disproportionate contributor to the success of every team, business and client she’s worked on. We’re lucky to have her, and couldn’t be prouder.
