We are still under the impressions of the beautiful day spent at Platak during the Traditional Games Festival, organized within the TRIM – Tradition in Motion project.
Through traditional games, laughter, and shared activities, the festival brought together children, parents, and grandparents, creating a space for intergenerational connection, active time in nature, and the preservation of tradition.
It was inspiring to see families spending quality time together, rediscovering games that once connected generations and creating new memories along the way.

👉 Title: Rediscover Rural: The Beauty, Traditions & Future of Countryside Life (Youth Exchange)
📍 Venue: Rettenegg, Austria 📅 Dates: 30th May- 8th June 👥 Participants: 6 participants aged 18–30, plus 1 group leader (18+) ⏳ Apply Until: 11th of May
💡Description: The “Rediscover Rural” project aims to change the way young people perceive rural life by showing them its real potential. In many European countries, rural areas are losing young populations as they move to cities for education and work, often believing that urban life offers better opportunities. However, this movement creates problems both for those who leave and for those who stay. Young people who relocate to cities often face financial struggles, high living costs, and stress, while rural communities suffer from depopulation, leading to the decline of businesses, schools, and traditional skills.
Food, accommodation are fully covered. Travel costs are reimbursed up to 309€ (The original travel budget is reduced by €69 to cover the cost of the organized bus for the roundtrip between Vienna and Rettenegg.)
The annual membership fee of the organisation for 2026 is 60€

TRIM Project – TPM in Rijeka, Croatia
Today in Rijeka, our partners of the Erasmus+ Project gathered for a productive transnational meeting focused on the next phase of the project and preparations for tomorrow’s Intergenerational Festival at Platak.
Discussions focused on educational materials, traditional games, intergenerational activities, dissemination, and the development of resources that will help preserve cultural heritage through movement and play.
Tomorrow, the project moves from planning to practice — bringing children, parents, grandparents, educators, and communities together through traditional games in nature, proving that some of the most valuable lessons are learned through movement, cooperation, and shared experiences.

👉 Title: PROTECT (Training)
📍 Venue: Kozani, Greece 📅 Dates: 12-14 May 👥 Participants: 2 participants ⏳ Apply Until: 7th of May
💡Description:PROTECT is a 12-month Erasmus+ Small-scale Partnership in the field of Youth (KA210-YOU), running from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026. It addresses a critical and growing gap in the youth sector: the lack of tailored data protection education for NGOs, youth-led organisations, youth workers and the young people they serve. Since the GDPR entered into force in 2018, the obligations placed on every organisation that processes personal data have remained largely the same — but the landscape in which youth work happens has been transformed. Erasmus+ projects, online tools, social media, mobile apps and AI-powered platforms generate and exchange enormous volumes of personal information, often involving minors. Existing GDPR training is overwhelmingly designed for the business sector, and the specific realities of NGOs and youth-led organisations — limited resources, volunteer staff, project-based work, sensitive data of young participants — are rarely addressed. PROTECT closes that gap.
The project covers the training material, food (lunch and diner) and cofee breaks
There is no participation fee

👉 Title: AI4SocialGood (staff training)
📍 Venue: Gouadeloupe
📅 Dates: 25 July - 1 August
👥 Participants: 3 participants 18+ years old
⏳ Apply Until: 5th of May
💡Description: Look anywhere around you, and you will find AI there. It writes our essays, drafts our letters, talks to people at three in the morning, and quietly shapes what entire communities believe is true. AI is no different from the technologies before it — only louder, faster, and harder to read.
Most AI training treats the technology as a productivity tool, how to write faster, plan faster, deliver faster. AI4SocialGood treats it as a public-good question. Across the training programme you build a working understanding of how today’s AI systems are made, how they fail, and how to design around bias, privacy, accessibility and dependency from the start. You leave with more than knowledge. You leave with a real, small AI-for-good initiative running in the community you already serve and a network of mentors and peers who keep showing up after the training week ends.
Food, accommodation, travel expenses up to a limit and training costs (480 euro) are fully covered.

The Safeling guide is now in your hands and a guide that stays on a shelf changes nothing.
Over the coming months, partners across our network will turn this guide into action: workshops in schools, coach trainings, parent meetings, awareness events in our clubs and on our pitches. Hellas for Us is proud to bring this work to our community here in Greece.
Safeling is an Erasmus+ Sport project that aims to move from awareness to real, on-the-ground prevention through sport, education and community action.
Want to host a Safeling session at your club, your school or your youth centre? Send us a message — let’s turn the page together.
