Hello Friends of Northstar Print Studio!
We need to ask you for a favor!
The City of Minneapolis is planning to renovate Quincy Street NE in such a way that we will lose the parking spots in front of our building and along the street. There will be half as many spots. This will make it incredibly hard for every artist in the building to get to work, to transport their many materials in and out in order to work and create our art.
We know that the street needs improvements and we support better accessibility, safer surfaces, and infrastructure upgrades. We believe the city could improve Quincy without losing the conditions that allow artists to work here.
If you enjoy visiting the studios in our Q.Arma building and along our street, and if you appreciate the unique and historic nature of Quincy Avenue NE, we ask that you let our City Council Member and Mayor know how you feel. We are excruciatingly close to losing our fight to keep things as they are.

The show opens this Saturday Oct 11th at the Minnehaha Falls Pavilion 2-6pm.
50% of all profits from the show are donated to protect and preserve the award-winning Minneapolis park system, with the other 50% going directly to the artists.
