Happy Valentine's Day to @grimgrinningbri , without you I wouldn't be where I am today. As we approach nine (NINE!) years next month, I reflect on how supportive, loving, and hard working you are to help our little family going.
From believing in my determination of working in pro sports, to cleaning the house, to just kissing me when I need them the most. You're my anchor in the middle of any storm. I love you.
I don't know what to write about the impact you left, Billy. You took care and loved Briana for almost TWENTY years. That's not just a long time for a cat...that's a long time for anyone. You accepted me on day one, and I know if you didn't like me, I wouldn't be with Briana.
You were the patriarch of the family, the one constant in the Dominguez household. Your meows were rare but thunderously low. You showed your love with a stone face and a warm lap. Being a foster parent to every kitten that has entered the house, showing love and protection, showed who you really were. A protector and lover. (And lover of chicken.)
To know you're no longer in pain, brings a warm glow of sunlight to what feels like a hailstorm. We were all so grateful to call you "Papa". The tears won't stop for a while, but that just shows how important you were.
