A huge thank you to @austapestry and their entire team for backing my art work into the 2025 Tapestry Design Prize! I was incredibly fortunate to receive the ‘People’s Choice’ award and to have my work hanging in the iconic Boyd House II / Walsh Street alongside some of Australia’s greatest artists and designers.
Cool Down, Stop Acting Crazy began as a small paper collage that was brought to life and perfectly hand woven by Amy Cornall. Thank you for nailing it! And thanks everyone who came out and supported the prize!

Here is a little preview of my tapestry for the Australian Tapestry Design Prize. It is being hand woven by @austapestry for Boyd ll/Walsh Street House.
Each coloured segment of the art work has approximately 12 differed coloured threads to build up the depth and texture. The attention to detail and skill by the team is incredible.
