I had so much fun with this one;
but in honour of letting people into the process, in the beginning i was not enjoying myself. it was about an hour before the session and i only had a few lines. i was writing what i thought people wanted to hear. i couldnāt believe after all these years that still showed up.
i canāt place when, possibly after i named the feeling, i started to write what i wanted to hear, i remembered iām creating with my friends, i genuinely started to have funā¦and fell in love with it.
Iāve loved YDKMN for YEARS and always thought about it a little too deeply, so all this is, is my interpretation of a classic.

lately, iāve been thinking about the different ways iāve been formed - through expectation, society, family truths and how much of my own narrative/belief gets lost in that. not always, but it can be a battle sha.
the video is a reflection of my inner thoughts, and the article is a deeper dive, a conversation between different parts of me i guess.
i donāt have a process or plan for this, still figuring it out. but it aligns with my leap of sharing more.

i wasnāt going to share this one, itās a longish video and i have to stop myself from crying on camera??
but itās brought me a lot of comfort since i recorded it.
still i want to take ego away from it, itās really not about me.
there is no place, that Godās love cannot reach. and there is such safety and humility in that.
building a relationship with God is personal, and itās intentional. itās not always easy, i am still learning every single day.
i stopped myself too many times because i overthought it or wanted to be āmoreā be āreadyā
yet with how much God does and creates (more time without us knowing) all He asks is for us to accept and love Him, and everything else, everything else will follow.
