I donāt usually get sentimental but Iām totally tooting my own horn on this one because I tend to be so hard on myself and that needs to simmer sometimes lol
This year, I released 12 original tracks (more than half on some of my goal labels), 1 bootleg edit, and 1 official remix. I got my first beatport no.1 in hypnotic/raw techno category, headlined my first music festival, got named as one of the future of dance artists, threw 3 @dauntlessrec events, and got some really dope editorial and DJ support on my music that I never thought would happen
Doing all this without a manager or agent was difficult to say at the least but what motivates me to keep going and (literally) stay alive is the community that Iāve built through my music and my love for the craft. All this gives me purpose

This is the second official music festival Iāve played at since I started djing 5 years ago and letās just say it hasnāt been easy but I wouldnāt wanna be doing anything else

I started raving (aka going to music festivals and edm concerts) since 2013 and one thing thatās different compared to now is presence. What used to feel like being at the rave to escape and search for inclusion now often feels like separation, judgement, and misalignment. Thatās why I wrote this song for the clubs. Itās fun, vibrant, and euphoric but still send a sassy message addressing how we need to get off our phones and just DANCE!
