these posts get harder and harder to make as time goes on….But it’s been 10 YEARS since you’ve left us, and there hasn’t been a day that’s gone by without you in our hearts.
You left us with so many unanswered questions, but at the same time you’ve inspired us to look within to find those answers. The older I grow, the more I realize how similar we are. You thought completely outside of the box, independent from the influence of society and those around you. You made decisions based off only your own understanding, and in these last ten years, I’ve found out how important that is.
I know I’ve made you proud.
Thank you to every single person who has supported me, listened to me, loved on me in any way, or provided even the slightest bit of comfort as I’ve navigated the hardest path I’ve ever been forced to walk. Bare with me as there’s still work to do
I’ll love you to the end of the earth, and I’ll miss you until my time runs out.

Black Star Square. A landmark that symbolizes Ghanas independence and liberation in 1957 from British Colonialism. The black star is a symbol of African unity and emancipation. Grateful to have been able to see such an important landmark to this country’s history. 🇬🇭
