Hidden gems, epic cliffs & beach days in Northern France You don’t have to go far to see beautiful things 1,2,3: Cap Blanc-Nez, a jewel of the Opal Coast Park your car at Cran d’Escalles perfect place to start your hike here! Oh and can you see The White Cliffs of Dover in picture 3? 4,5,6: Fort d’Ambleteuse is a magnificent sea fort and was built at the end of the 17th century Here you can find a lot of fossils, mussels and beautiful shells on the beach 7,8: Dunes de la Slack is a beautiful nature reserve between Wimereux and Ambleteuse The area is named after La Slack, a river that flows through the dunes and flows into the sea at Fort d’Ambleteuse There are several walking routes available 9: Our perfect stay was at ‘Villa Marius’ in Ambleteuse Save this post for later
