🌿 Hi, I’m Heidi! 🌿 Welcome to my page! I’m a Women’s Health, Dance, and Endometriosis Physio, a former dancer and dance teacher, and someone who loves exploring nature, connection, and all things growth. 💃 How it Started: I grew up dancing, training in ballet, contemporary, and lyrical, even earning a scholarship to train in London. My passion for anatomy and accelerating my technique naturally led me to become a Dance Physio. 👩‍⚕️ How I Found Women’s Health: Working with female dancers and gymnasts, I saw patients experiencing things like endometriosis, leaking during jumps or s*xual discomfort—and I didn’t know how to help. That curiosity sparked my love for Women’s Health Physio and love treating women throughout the lifestages - from periods, pregnancy, menopause and beyond. As someone who didn’t learn about pelvic health growing up as a second generation Korean Australian, it’s now my mission to empower women to understand, empower and care for their bodies. ✨ Today: I combine my passions at my clinic @Femmephysiotherapywellness , helping women and dancers thrive! Proud aunty, sweet tooth, nature seeker with abundant growth mindset. 🏔️ Follow My Adventures: This page isn’t just about my work—it’s about life, growth, creativity, and adventure. Its about me figuring out life in my 30s, making sure that I continue to live a life that is aligned with my values. I’m about to set off on a solo trip to Patagonia and Brazil, and I’d love to take you along! #WomensHealthPhysio #DancePhysio #NatureLover #GrowthJourney #PatagoniaAdventures #solotravel #physiotherapy #businesswoman #herthirties

Her Body, Her Story — is now live. This podcast was created as a space for conversations that often don’t happen openly enough. Here, we unpack both the science and the stories that shape women’s bodies — so you can better understand your own, and move through different seasons of life with more clarity and confidence. From pelvic health, injury, and pregnancy, to intimacy, identity, menopause, and everything in between — nothing is off the table. Because your experience is not isolated, and your body is not something you have to navigate alone. — You can now listen via the link in bio or link here: /show/0QQQIVUtju4VnlF0lTvWF7?si=ac1ec7c09fb8499b #womenshealthpodcast #womenshealth #pelvichealth #physiotherapy #womensupport #healtheducation #womenswellness #bodyawareness

My story is shaped by sacrifice, love, and two cultures 🤍 I’m an Australian-born Korean, raised by parents who gave everything they had so their children could have more. Their resilience, love, and work ethic continue to shape who I am — both personally and professionally. I’m proud to be Australian. I’m proud of my Korean heritage. Both have taught me values I carry into how I care for others every day. Today, I also acknowledge that this date holds different meanings for many. I respect and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and recognise that for some, today is a time for mourning, reflection, and truth. Holding space for gratitude, respect, and reflection — for the land we live on, the stories before us, and the many ways we experience what it means to be Australian 🤍 #FemmePhysiotherapyWellness #AustraliaDay WomenInHealth #FemmePhysio #PhysioWithPurpose

As we reach the final day of 2025, it’s easy to look around and measure yourself against other people’s highlight reels — the achievements, the milestones, the polished reflections. But your year wasn’t meant to look like anyone else’s. Your path, your pace, your growth… it’s all uniquely yours. Today isn’t about what you “should” have done. It isn’t about catching up. It isn’t about matching someone else’s timeline. It’s about being here. Appreciating the year you lived. Honouring what you moved through. And letting this final day be one you actually feel — not one you compare. Enjoy the final day of the year. Be present for it. Let it matter in a gentle way. Follow along as we celebrate this last day with presence rather than pressure. During Long Social Meals Long festive lunches and dinners are beautiful — but they can also leave the body feeling a little stiff, tight, or uncomfortable after sitting for so long. If you’re noticing tension in your back, hips, shoulders, or neck, a few simple movements can make a real difference. Gentle stretches, small posture resets, and mindful movement breaks can help your body feel more supported so you can stay present and actually enjoy the moment — rather than just endure the discomfort. Enjoy the connection. Support your body. Stay present — without the discomfort. Follow along as we continue creating healthy moments of presence in these final days of December through the December Unrushed Challenge. Finishing things up in December often means more sitting, more screen time, and more mental load — all while movement drops off. When the thoracic spine (mid to upper back) becomes stiff, the neck and lower back tend to compensate, which can increase tension and discomfort. Adding a few gentle thoracic movements can help: – Reduce neck and back strain – Improve posture and breathing – Release tension held through busy days This isn’t about pushing range. It’s about restoring movement where the body needs it most. December has a way of accelerating time — not because we suddenly have less of it, but because our attention is pulled in so many directions at once. December Unrushed is a daily presence practice designed to help slow the season down and reconnect with your body — one moment at a time. Follow along for daily moments of calm throughout December. Language influences perception. When we repeatedly tell ourselves we’re busy, the brain interprets this as pressure. Urgency increases, breathing shortens, and the nervous system stays on alert — even when nothing is actually urgent. Reframing changes the signal. Instead of “I’m so busy,” try: – “I have a full day.” – “I’m moving through a lot right now.” – “I’m prioritising what matters today.” This shift doesn’t deny responsibility. It reduces unnecessary stress. Reframing helps by: – Lowering perceived urgency – Improving emotional regulation – Supporting clearer decision-making – Reducing background tension in the body – Creating a greater sense of control and choice Same tasks. Different internal experience. December has a way of accelerating time — not because we suddenly have less of it, but because our attention is pulled in so many directions at once. December Unrushed is a daily presence practice designed to help slow the season down and reconnect with your body — one moment at a time. Follow along for daily moments of calm throughout December. Drinking tea mindfully uses sensory input to bring the brain into the present moment. Activating the five senses helps reduce cognitive load, shifts attention away from rumination, and supports parasympathetic nervous system activity. Today’s practice: As you drink your tea, deliberately notice: – The warmth of the cup in your hands – The colour of the tea – The aroma before sipping – The taste in your mouth – The sensation of warmth as you swallow This process grounds the brain through sensory processing, which helps regulate stress responses and reduce mental urgency — without adding time or effort to your day. You’re not creating a new habit. You’re changing how you use an existing one. December has a way of accelerating time — not because we suddenly have less of it, but because our attention is pulled in so many directions at once.
