One thing birthdays do is to remind us that truly there are people around us who genuinely care and love us, not in the loud show offsy way… but in the still calm way that shows up when it’s most needed…
This year I embraced gratitude in a way I haven’t ever done…
For the gift of each new day…
For the love of God…
For the gift of an amazing family…
For the blessings I call friends…
For a job that stresses me but I love it…
For the silent moments of reflection…
I am immensely grateful and I don’t think there are any words that I could possibly express my joy or gratitude… they just don’t seem adequate…
This grateful heart would be back at 29 with new reasons to be in awe of the wonders of God… this is one fact I know!!!!

It looks like God carrying me
when my own strength ran out.
Thank You, Lord,
for every lesson disguised as pain,
every delay that protected me,
every moment that shaped this woman I am becoming.
I love the girl who refused to give up.
The one who kept choosing hope
even on heavy days.
Today, I honor her.
I honor me
And as a new chapter begins,
I step forward boldly
expecting joy, welcoming growth,
and trusting that my best days
are still introducing themselves to me.

With more than half the year gone, so many plans unaccomplished, so much tears shed already, so many down times…
One thing is for sure… the grace of the Lord is sufficient…
And although my plans didn’t go as I would have wanted… God’s plans showed up and has brought me to where I am meant to be… exactly at this point in this moment…
So let’s call it GRATITUDE DAY for this girl whom God has held despite her shortcomings.
Though I fall countless times never has he once let go of my hand…
With every picture of nature I take, I’m reminded that God is good and all He creates is automatically good…
Remember this when those negative thoughts about yourself start to creep in💜
