Grab a chance, challenge myself, and inspire people — these were the main reasons I decided to compete, and I think I’ve hit them all! 🥹
This unexpectedly valuable journey over two months of preparation was filled with uncountable moments of support — from coffee knowledge to encouragement from friends, family, and so many kind people I met along the way. I always appreciate every bit of love and support that fueled me through this challenging path. Thank you for guiding me, standing beside me, and believing I could do it. 🧡
During my first real moment on the biggest stage, some mistakes happened and affected my score and ranking. Right before the announcement, I learned a lot — acceptance, self-kindness, and keeping every moment as a lesson were the mindsets I needed. No regrets — just enjoy the competition. I looked around at all the hugs, cheers, and love I’d received, and realized it was far more than I could have imagined. That moment made me feel so at peace on stage — no nerves at all.
Then came the surprise: I placed 2nd overall and 1st in the Compulsory Round, my happiest and most fun round — proven by my dancing, smiling, and clapping hands under pressure! 😆
This success isn’t just mine — it’s my team’s. Big thanks to:
🧡
@dannn.be — my coach and roaster. Thank you for trusting me, fixing all the mess into an organized routine, encouraging me, calming the storm when I had 5 minutes left before going on stage and the prep wasn’t done 😂, guiding me through what really mattered, and so much more.
🧡
@porplla — my rule holder, judge, and true all-rounder. Always with me and P’Be from sunrise to sunset, every day.
🧡
@pleumm_____ — my brewing assistant who’s trained me since the Home Brewer Cup. Her knowledge (plus P’Be’s amazing system) was key to my 1st rank in Compulsory — even with so little practice time. She also called out tasting notes so precisely for the Open Service rounds and became the water magician, seasoning my brew water for that sweet, juicy, long-lasting aftertaste.
