If you want to understand where food is going, put an investor and a biotech founder in a room full of foodies.
The future of food isnât a straight line. Itâs a debate.
Last nightâs #FoodTech edition at Red Bridge brought a different crowd into the room.
Alongside our regular mix of founders, investors, and tech operators, we welcomed foodies, vegans, and the simply curious.
A full house â and a full spectrum of opinions.
Because food is never just sustenance.
Itâs heritage.
Itâs identity.
It carries memory and emotion.
The tension between optimism and realism made the conversation sharper.
We challenged our tastebuds as well as our thinking â passing around wasabi popcorn from
@volup_lisbon and washing it down with pomegranate cider from
@zidra.pt . A small reminder that experimentation doesnât only happen in labs.
Innovation in food isnât just a technical problem. Itâs behavioral, emotional, economic. The future will likely be hybrid â not only in ingredients, but in ideas.
We were back for the second time at the beautiful
@heden_workspaces â and once again, the setting elevated the conversation. Thoughtfully designed, warm, and human-scaled, itâs a space that makes debate feel constructive rather than combative. Weâre looking forward to building more together in the months ahead.
Thank you to the Red Bridge team for bringing the evening to life â and to everyone who showed up ready to question, challenge, and taste what might come next.
