IMPRONTA Encuentro de Performance Argentino Espacio de Arte Gascón 104 Febrero 2026 Buenos Aires, Argentina Después de haber finalizado mi gestión curatorial y la presentación de LATITUDES 2026, el Festival Internacional de Performance Art de Santa de la Sierra, Bolivia, me trasladé a Buenos Aires para encontrarme con familia, amigos y colegas. Durante mi corta estancia y en conversaciones con otros artistas y el apoyo de un gran amigo, Daniel Acosta -Fundador del programa SOSTIERRA y colaborador del Festival de Performance Art de Buenos Aires, AUSTRAL, se organizó el encuentro de performance de verano, IMPRONTA. Para el evento realicé la presentación de ATADURAS, performance que trata sobre los vínculos sociales, afectivos, políticos, étnicos, culturales, históricos con un determinado lugar, en mi caso con Argentina y por ende con Latinoamérica. Bajo los retos político-económicos que nos toca vivir en esta contemporaneidad vertiginosa del primer cuarto del siglo XXI, ATADURAS es también una reflexión y una evocación al hecho de estar entre dos latitudes: el norte donde he vivido la mayor parte de mi vida y el sur donde me he reencontrado personal y profesionalmente. … memories of my recent solo exhibition URBANIA: Corporeidades Citadinas, at the Museum of the City Altillo Beni (MABi) in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (January 2025). An interdisciplinary art exhibition that reflects on the relationship between urban space, the individual, and time. Hector Canonge's new project proposes a novel approach to thinking about the spatial embodiment of a given territory, as well as the perceptual transformation of the individual who, as a passerby, alters the daily life of an urban enclave like Santa Cruz de la Sierra. URBANIA refers to popular customs rooted in the public sphere through bodily intervention and the use of materials and objects specific to a region. The different elements of the exhibition emphasize the human presence and its potential to alter urban daily life. The exhibition at the Altillo Beni Museum includes photographic archive material, interactive cartographic maps, video performances, site-specific installations, and live performance. URBANIA: Corporeidades Citadinas (Enero 2025) Exposición de arte interdisciplinar que reflexiona sobre la relación entre el espacio urbano, el individuo y el tiempo. El nuevo proyecto de Hector Canonge propone un acercamiento inédito al modo de pensar sobre la corporeidad espacial de un determinado territorio así como la transformación perceptiva del individuo que, como transeúnte, altera la cotidianidad de un enclave urbano como Santa Cruz de la Sierra. URBANIA hace referencia a las costumbres populares arraigadas en la esfera pública mediante la intervención corporal y el uso de materiales y objetos propios de una región. Los diferentes elementos de la muestra hacen hincapié en la presencia humana y su potencialidad para alterar la cotidianidad urbana.
