Today is the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough, arguably the most famous naturalist of our time. We loved his recent Wild London documentary series, giving an insight into the wonderful wildlife of our city.

as well as hedgeHOG week this week also marks national hedgeROW week! Phew!
🌿The UK is currently undergoing a nationwide hedgerow restoration effort, reinstating these important wildlife corridors that were previously lost to agricultural intensification. Hedges support wildlife, capture carbon, and stitch our landscapes together.
🌿Our recent Hedgerow Heroes campaign helped plant new hedgerows on the Heath as well as restoring existing ones - beautifully demonstrated by our volunteers here.
