Thanks 2 everyone who joined us for Headznite x Breakbeat Science last month! Big up to to DJ DB, DJ Dara & Dave Shichman, we were honored to share the decks with three of u, all sets were killer! Huge thanks to the dancers and @nowadaysnyc fam, y'all let the magic happen <3 together we raised $5037.18 which will be split 50/50 between @new_alternatives_nyc and trusted volunteer groups in Ukraine who provide direct assistance to those in need: marginalized groups, families in bomb shelters, the elderly, those on the move, children’s hospitals and self-organized humanitarian groups. We feel humbled and inspired to be able to combine our love of drum n bass music, helping our friends in Ukraine and our local community

'nuff said, we start the countdown! Headznite is a mid-week jungle/drum and bass party for charity. For this edition, we're teaming up with Breakbeat Science, a drum and bass record store and label in New York City. Founded in 1996 by DJ DB & DJ Dara, it was the first US store dedicated to drum and bass music and became ground zero for the scene until it closed in 2007. The two crews are teaming up on a Thursday, bringing pure old skool jungle and drum and bass, strictly for the headz!
this time we split the funds even between aid for the Ukrainian resistance and @new_alternatives_nyc , a local non profit committed to the transition of Igbta+ youth out of the homeless shelter system into stable adult lives
