I’m not anti–conventional deadlifts. I just prefer tools that give me high force output with lower cost for most fighters. The trap bar lets athletes: • Produce force safely • Load heavy without unnecessary fatigue • Recover better around skill training Strength should support performance — not interfere with it. Here’s why I rarely program running for my fighters. It’s not because running is ā€œbad.ā€ It’s because tools like the AirBike, rower, and SkiErg allow better control of intensity, output, and recovery.
