ryan and i met in the summer of 2018. we immediately connected musically, politically, and shared a desire to bring different communities together socially. that fall he ended up performing lead guitar on the album version of our song "never miss a beat" and shortly after that introduced me to rory (who joined head and became my room mate) and invited us to play deff fest the following year. we remained close til his tragic and untimely death in 2023. ryan had a ton of potential.. he was fun, funny, and through his actions, consistently displayed genuine care for others. homie had a lot more to do
