THIS WEEK'S 3 CRAZIEST ODDITIES! A "raptor" skeleton?! Debris from the FIRST atomic bomb blast in history!? Affordable human skulls?!
We get dozens of new and strange objects every week, here's a few things I'm personally excited about this week!
Life, death, and the universe. From the depths of time and space to the palm of your hands. Every day is unique when you run an oddity shop that finances a free-admission museum!
Thousands of options and millions of years of history at your fingertips! There's no better way to support a free-admission museum than taking home a piece of our universe.
In such a mixed up, messed up, world, it's important to look back on amazing moments with amazing people and remember - even the darkest of storms will pass. Sometimes life will have you crying, but it's only a matter of time until it'll have you dancing once again!
I'm so excited for @kiesza 's new album Dancing and Crying: Vol. 3, out on May 8th! I can't wait to see all of you, and hear her, on the dancefloor!
Dinosaur omelet for breakfast!? It's important to start your day with a serving of real dinosaur eggs.
Also, have you ever thought about the fact that a platypus could make its own omelets? The joys of an animal that lays eggs and produces milk!
We're all setup at NIX - the Toronto Tattoo Show! Come visit us at the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Our store and museum is still open 12-8pm, 7 days a week. Check it out, or browse our website for more goodies! www.skullstore.ca
An excuse to cyberpunk outfit on a Tuesday? Yes please! Kiesza and I had the absolute pleasure of being guests of The Midnight at their concert last night, where she made a surprise appearance during the last song.
I'm always looking for an excuse to dress up and find new variations for my existing outfit pieces!
It's my last day in NYC, just sipping a drink before heading to a listening party for a wonderful, and incredibly talented, friend of mine.
Life has been brutal this year (and for quite some time before that!), but this weekend has been some very good medicine. I've spent time with, and had meetings with, amazing humans of all walks of life and a diverse range of experiences.
I'll be making multiple posts about the wild last few days (it won't all fit in one!), but it's lit a spark of hope in me and provided some very-needed validation that my work, and corresponding struggle, is worth the uphill battle.
My commitment to public education, conservation, and historical preservation is stronger than ever!
❓Did you know - my free-admission museum, and conservation work, is almost entirely funded by the sales of sparkly and amazing items at my oddity shop❓
www.SkullStore.ca has over 1300 incredible specimens, starting as low as $2! 👀 My selection includes crystals, fossils, meteorites, oddities, ancient artifacts, skulls, plushies, and sooo much more!
Upgrade your home and your world at the same time 😍🌎
Even if you're not looking to purchase something, but want to support our mission to build a permanent, 100% inclusive, education center, donations are always appreciated! 🥰
We simply can't exist without more public support, and that support is directly given back to everyone out there (endangered critters included!) 🦎♥️🐵
Toronto is home to a FREE museum full of dinosaurs, ancient artifacts, oddities, skeletons and other treasures! Why do we REFUSE to charge admission? Why would we even be crazy enough to open a museum at all?
Here's a behind the scenes peek with our head curator Ben Lovatt.
**Our museum always needs YOUR support! Donations, purchases at our shop SkullStore.ca, and even just visiting our facility and telling your friends!**
