@hdmirror_ na HITAUS 2025!

HDMIRROR. They come from Cape Town and operate in Berlin, but their natural environment and main source of inspiration is the internet. That’s also where they were born – their beginnings can be traced back to online communities and digital publications. They like to play intensely and fast, have a sense of humor, and use visual effects rooted in post-internet aesthetics. Sometimes they describe their music as avant hardcore or avant trance: a collision of rave, trance, and gabber. They are associated with the experimental labels Genot Centre and Jerome.
For Isabel Marant's Spring-Summer 2021 show I worked on the music and music production with @gabbereleganza , choreographed by @la.horde at Palais Royal⚡️⚡️⚡️ We did a total rework of Donna Summer- I Feel Love (without any files) which aired in October and it was sick.
The strobes naturally worked their way into the narrative ⚡️⚡️⚡️
One 2020 highlight: Seeing the video I made for "Frozen Dopamina" (with Gabber Eleganza ) being aired on the streets of Shibuya and watching it happen through the same screen I used to make it. ✌️

We live in a twilight world:
A scene from my set last weekend in Enschede, Netherlands. It started as an experiment and ended in a mini storm.
Track ID: Gabber Eleganza & HDMIRROR - Move Your Car
I salvaged some footage from my A/V set at @lunchmeatfestival 💥 I was playing off 2 computers and was very happy that nothing crashed 💥 The vibe was insane. More to come 🙏
Here's a scene from my set at @mutekes a few weeks ago. Conditions were optimal 💥 It was my most 'A/V' set yet. More to come ✨Thanks Franc Folini for the 📸
Late @unsoundfestival report: It was mental. Thank you for having me and thanks to all the next level dancers in the Kitchen 🙏 Also s/o to the Strobe operator. It was like that scene from Blade. 📷 by @m_t_hall & @aeon.shaker
