Last month, most of the staff at the popular Khmer restaurant Sophon went on strike and then quit en masse. Stranger contributor Harry Cheadle uncovered why the staff walked. It turns out they couldn’t put up with the years of mismanagement from chef/owner Karuna Long that resulted in missed payments to vendors, bounced checks to employees, unpaid rent, and even a lawsuit from two disgruntled investors.
