A few Do’s and Dont’s to prepare for your bridal makeup application, explained below 👇🏼 • The week leading up to the wedding … ✖️Don’t get any facial waxing, less than a week before as makeup will not adhere well to these areas ✖️Don’t have abrasive facials or use retinol as it can cause peeling of the skin ✖️Sun exposure - lying in strong sun in the lead up to the wedding can be a disaster for you skin - accidental sunburn and tan lines are very hard to disguise with makeup! 🧴 SPF thoroughly if you are planning to be in the sun ☀️ ✖️Don’t get lash lifts if your makeup artist is applying falsies for you - they won’t sit well together ✔️ Do double cleanse in the evening, before applying hydrating serums and moisturisers to get the max benefit ✔️ Do hydrate and increase your water intake for glowing skin 💧 ✔️ Do use nourishing hydrating skincare mainly, and reduce actives (retinol, acids) that may cause shedding or irritation Have any skincare / prep Q’s feel free to ask me in the comments or DM x Was the above helpful? #skincaretips #skinprep #bridalprep #makeupprep #makeupartist

My week(end) in the Cotswolds was just lovely, thanks! Took the train, wandered the streets and boutiques of Bath and stopped for lunch and a limoncello spritz 🍋 zero plan or itinerary 👌🏻 We planted a primrose up on haresfield beacon to mark my mums birthday. 3 years since she left us too soon, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her and think about her.
