Becoming an Alpha man is something I will forever be grateful for because the values, discipline, and principles behind such an honor are qualities I’ve carried with me long before the letters. Ever since I recognized the sacrifices my mother made for me, I promised myself that all of her hard work would pay off — not only for her, but for myself as well.
But becoming a DEVASTATING Delta Nu brother is a blessing beyond words. It’s a bond, a legacy, and a standard of excellence that I now have the honor to uphold for life. 🖤💛
To my Dean and the WRECKONING: I don’t think I can count on my hands the number of times I’ve said how grateful I am to have been guided to the light the way that I was. Every challenge, mistake, and lesson is something I’ll cherish forever, because if I was never taught be sure of myself, I would’ve never won the prize!
To P.A.I.D In FULL: Man, to come from just my mom and I to having 4 other brothers Is something that I thank God for giving me the opportunity to experience. It’s hard to put into words the love I got for yall but I’m glad that yall could trust me and know that I always have our best interest at heart as yall ACE. Even when the funds were LOW and them debts were HIGH nothing could tear our brotherhood apart. To be us you just had to see us 🦍🩸
To Polar Opposites: It’s unfortunate that our time together on the yard was so short, but no matter the distance, I hope y’all know your ADP is always just a call or text away. Even in that short time, being able to pour into you young men is something I’ll always be proud of, and I truly hope the lessons and advice I shared resonated with y’all. You all understand the weight of holding up the Light of Alpha High, and without a doubt, you have the foundation to do exactly that.

Countless memories. One unforgettable moment.
From The Yard to the world stage, the Class of 2026 leaves Howard carrying more than a degree. They carry legacy, purpose, resilience, and the spirit of excellence that defines Howard University.
This is more than a commencement recap.
It’s a celebration of every sacrifice, every breakthrough, every late night, and every dream realized.
Bold enough to lead. Brilliant enough to transform. And forever… Howard.

“I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.” — William Ernest Henley
I learned that being a king was never about a crown or a title — it was about how you carry yourself through every loss, setback, and moment that tries to break you.
There were moments during this journey where I had to rebuild myself quietly while still showing up with my head held high. Even without being officially crowned, I still chose to lead, serve, and represent with integrity.
So this isn’t just a photoshoot — it’s the reflection of every lesson, every prayer, and every moment I refused to give up.
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
These past four years with the Southern University Human Jukebox have been unforgettable. My journey was anything but easy, but every challenge shaped me into the man I am today.
Before college, my primary instrument was the saxophone, which I played for eight years. When I came to Southern, I transitioned to baritone and had to relearn a completely different instrument. During my very first semester, I suffered an injury that made me question if I would even be able to continue. There were moments when people doubted me, moments when I doubted myself, and days when quitting felt easier than pushing forward.
But through every setback, I leaned on God, stayed focused, and kept going. I endured personal losses, overcame obstacles, and proved to myself that perseverance always pays off.
Today, I’m proud to say I completed four consecutive years in the Human Jukebox. Along the way, I gained lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and lessons that strengthened me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
I’m grateful for everyone who supported me, proud of my growth, and excited for the next chapter God has prepared for me.
Forever a Juke.

Being a biology major at UMES taught me more than just science. It taught me resilience, discipline, patience, and how to keep going even during the moments when I felt overwhelmed. From long nights and difficult labs to early mornings and countless sacrifices, every challenge shaped me into the woman I am today.
To my bio girls, I truly couldn’t have made it through this journey without y’all. Thank you for the study sessions, the encouragement, the laughs during stressful moments, and for reminding me that I wasn’t alone through it all. We survived, and I’ll forever be grateful for the memories and sisterhood we created along the way.
The journey was hard, but becoming her was worth it.

Cheers 🍾to LOYALTY
To the world-
When I came to become apart of the BGMM , there was a lot expected and not expected. First I came in as a flute & piccolo player and the second day of band camp Doc asked the piccolos who wanted to switch to Alto Saxophone and I most definitely took advantage of that cause I always wanted to play saxophone 😂. Second , I twisted my ankle the first week of band camp …YES THE FIRST WEEK and it ended up spreading to my knee and I was out for a whole season until the last parade ( The Rose Bowl). I was also told I had nerve damage in my knee. I sprained my other ankle and hurt my other knee but I still marched 💀 . If you haven’t noticed by now I’m just accident prone. With all that being said with everything I had going on , I still kept pushing myself to be and do better . Despite what I was being told , I still stayed in the band because I knew one day I was going to be able to march my way through.
To Doc-
Thank you for creating a long lasting Legacy that I had the pleasure of being under your guidance for. For being a Legend who saw more in me than just being a musician. For being there for the BGMM through it all. Your support, your passion, and your love for this program won’t go unnoticed! Happy Retirement!
To SA💙🤍🩶-

Entrepreneurship has always been part of my path, but staying grounded and committed to earning my degree made the journey even sweeter. There were countless sleepless nights balancing school, editing, marketing, and traveling. Moments where I was exhausted but still chose to keep going.
Thank you to all of my clients who invested in me, trusted my vision, supported my business, and believed in my work throughout this journey.
The journey doesn’t stop here… this is only the Beginning📸
