Akproko things! Governor Umo Eno has clapped back at serial defector Kenneth Okonkwo, telling him to face front — Akwa Ibom, he says, isn’t interested in unsolicited opinions about his defection to the #APC. Follow and share: X: @hazucall Well, the Golden Governor is back — and the people are watching to see how he plans to steer the wheels on this political expressway. 🚗💨 #apc #pdp #2027 #akwaibom #ARISEAgenda #Nigeria #tinubu #governance

They are both former Governors — one from the South, the other from the North. At his grand 60th birthday celebration — where the crème de la crème gathered and the hall overflowed with all kinds of food and fine wine — he and his loyal “brief” friend boldly declared: they are hungry! On Journalist Hangout, I didn’t hold back. Like Senator Shehu Sani, I dissected their “hunger” claims — just to confirm if they’re now battling a case of severe protein deficiency. Akwa Ibom Moves to the Centre—A Political Shift Years in the Making Akwa Ibom has officially aligned with the centre, following Governor Umo Eno’s defection to the APC. No one is more delighted than President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Why? His political interest in Akwa Ibom dates back to 2011. I was there—as a reporter—when Tinubu, then national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), arrived in Uyo. He was welcomed by thousands of opposition supporters led by gubernatorial candidate, Senator Akpan Udoedeghe. His main rival? The current Senate President, Godswill Akpabio. That period was marked by intense political unrest—violence, kidnappings, and deep divisions. In 2014, Tinubu returned to Uyo when Umana Okon Umana defected to the APC. Both times, his candidates lost. But Tinubu’s interest in Akwa Ibom never faded. Whether it stems from his days with Mobil or a strategic vision, one thing is clear—he has long held a special place for the state. Now, thanks to internal fractures in the PDP, his long-standing hope seems to be fulfilled. Maybe that’s why he was glued to TVC News, watching the official announcement. To Governor Umo Eno, I say: congratulations, but the work has just begun. Winning hearts in a state that has long identified with the PDP won't be easy. Stay the course with the ARISE Agenda—that’s your strongest tool. He has really change the political landscape in Akwa Ibom – it is indeed a breath of fresh air – Political unity at its best! #AkwaIbom #UmoEno #Tinubu #APC #Politics #Nigeria #ARISEAgenda #unityindiversity Follow me: X: @hazucall | IG: @hazucall

Akwa Ibom state, Commissioner for Special duties and deep seaport, Ini Ememebong resigns from cabinet minutes after Govermor Umo Eno defected to APC. He cited personal reasons. 2027 will be interesting in Akwa Ibom.

For months, he said it, and now, he is activating it. Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Umo Eno, moves from PDP to APC. I'm not surprised. The PDP has refused to out its house in order, and no first time Governor wants to take the risk. Without a national secretary, your ticket a candidate is useless. Who is the PDP national secretary?

This is the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa speaking on near-perfect solution to the increasing insecurity in Nigeria. Our borders are porous, that's a fact! But, if we want peace and development, this suggestion is apt. We need to "Build-the-wall or Fence-Our-Borders." This shouldn't cost much, atleast for peace-sake #AJThink #AJOpinion #Insecurity #Nigeria #Peace #development #áfrica #sahel #nigeriaarmy Source: TRTGlobal

The "Take-it-Back Movement" plans a nationwide protest on June 12. It is against hunger, corruption and insecurity. Everyone has the right to #Protest but it must be according to the rule of law. But, what do you think about putting the governors on their toes? #journalistshangout #june12protest #democracy

Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Olufemi Oluyede relocates to Makurdi to stop the senseless killings of innocent Nigerians. This is good and hope he flushes these terrorists out of Benue for good. The stakeholders must give the Army the full support too. #journalistshangout

With over 180 people dead, hundreds missing, the people of #Mokwa need the #humanitarian support to stay afloat. But, I believe the government at all levels should be proactive and prepare for disasters. Will it happen again? Sure. But, we need to be ready. #journalistshangout #niger

I was happy to be nominated and invited to be one of the panellists at the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters National conference. It was a convergence of the who is who in the industry. Really a great honour to mount the rostrum to contribute my little quota to the advancement of the broadcast media #media #broadcaster #tvcnews #ivlp #nipr
