It’ll find you in the end. And then also give you a swift kick in the shins Yesterday, I had such an intimate moment with myself. I painted 28 bags and then had to live paint the last 22 at an event for a client in 3 hours and it was surreal. The event started at 6 and ended at 9. And I finished at 9:05. I couldn’t have been prouder of myself in that moment and it was one of those laughable, but clarifying moments where you’re like “what the absolute heck is this year” Can’t wait to do it again #hustle #newengland #artist #dayinthelife #painter

The literal most FUN, stressful and exhausting 9 months I could have dreamed I can’t say enough about what’s been coming into my life or the opportunities I’ve been given and blessed with. All I could say is thank you and for one of the first times in my life, I feel like I honestly deserve every bit of it. I work hard. I’m an artist, my own supplier, my own event coordinator, my own marketer, the buyer, the delivery and packaging queen, and more. I say yes to things I don’t even know what I’m doing in and just exude the confidence it could take to finish it. I fail and criticize myself, but just learn and redo my mistakes. Art can be challenging and even seem daunting from someone who can be a true perfectionist. But trust me when I say that you’ll see me in even cooler things these next 9 months and I’m so excited. What a stressful time it is to do life for the approval of family or friends At 22, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. Then, at 24, my life came crashing down. At 25, I thought I knew what I should do, then at 26, what I was doing became so hard and everything halted. Then at 26, I thought I finally nailed it and yet, I didn’t. Now, at 28, all I know is that I love what I do amidst the result or if I’m not doing this years from now! Art is so flowing and such a personality form that at this point, I love everything about it. If I change my mind years from now, it might make others confused, but that’s the fun of it. In all the years I spent chasing success or approval, I was the least confident and had no idea what I liked or wanted without people telling me.
