Playing on stage at the Royal Albert Hall with Hawkwind was such a blast.
Heroes from my early teens, and a great bunch of guys.
There was much esprit de corps with the entire crew and RAH team all evening.
I was a bit at sea during the actual show, with two hours of complex chord changes to get familiar with in only a few days, and the fact that the band like to break off from the plan at the drop of a hat and do extended jams, but made a lot of space sounds from my synths and guitar.
There was so much love coming off the audience for the band it was a treat, and I really enjoyed hanging out with the dedicated fans outside, with beers that I was bring up from backstage. Very nice lot. I was very thankful to @retrostudiotech for being there with me. Thanks to his tech and repertoire enthusiasm I’m raring to get out live on my own account, especially as I now have tons of new dance material! 🕺🏼
