This song was born from a deep place of frustration and confusion when we took a wrong exit in west Memphis last December and had to drive in circles to get back to where we needed to be. I can’t wait for you to hear it! I’m so excited for this to be my first release on @oldcompanyrecords , I’m so honored to be able to work with such thoughtful and supportive artists go check em out!!
The cover photo was taken by @schnadelbach on new year’s morning this year as I was writing this song and trying to figure out how I bruised my hand the night before. The second photo is where I recorded the first demo of the song, at Bardwell Lake in Ennis, TX, you should go there!
