Custom Haven Court x LIVEWIRE jeans for @shady28nate
West Oakland rapper J. Stalin, CEO and owner of Livewire Records, founded the label that became a staple of Bay Area Mob Music and hip hop. Shady Nate, who is also recognized as a co founder of the label, along with artists like Philthy Rich & Lil Blood helped build the legacy of Livewire in the Bay Area rap scene.
For this pair, we created a custom LIVEWIRE back pocket logo printed on our black 379 selvedge jeans. The concept was inspired by how brands like Evisu, RMC, and other denim labels in the 2000s would create special back pocket graphics for collaborations and limited pieces.
Proud to put together this custom pair for Nate. If you were around during the late 2000s in the Bay, you already know the era of their music and the role it played in defining a major chapter of Bay Area rap culture
