2025 has been full of uncertainty, but we remain committed to our mission to end transition aged youth homelessness amongst youth ages 18 to 24 who identify somewhere in the LGBTQQIA+ community. We are dedicated to providing care and support and helping navigate the complexities of life without traditional safety nets. For many of these young people, we are not just a resource but a lifeline.
Now more the ever we need your support. Your donations directly impact our ability to provide housing, mental health services, education programs, and so much more.

We are dedicated to providing care and support for transition-age youth, especially those who have experienced homelessness, are LGBTQIA+, and are navigating the complexities of life without traditional safety nets. For many of these young people, we are not just a resource but a lifeline.
But none of this work can be done alone. That’s why we need you. We need your support to continue growing, to expand our services, and to reach even more youth who are waiting for the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Your donations directly impact our ability to provide housing, mental health services, education programs, and so much more.

Join us tomorrow Friday April 3rd for the opening of “Tuft Times”- Works from the studio by Sav Hazard-Chaney (@artxbyxsav@tuftxpvd )
Savaree “Sav” Hazard-Chaney is a Providence-based fiber artist and founder of TuftxPVD, Rhode Island’s first Black, queer, and woman-owned rug tufting studio. Working primarily with yarn and tufting tools, Sav transforms yarn and other everyday materials into textured works.
This exhibition brings together a collection of tufted pieces created across different moments in Sav’s studio practice. Rather than following a single narrative or series, the works reflect an ongoing relationship with material and community. This show will include tufted rugs, tufted sculptures and tufted furniture, all influenced by culture, community and design.
Presenting this body of work at Haus of Codec holds particular significance. Early in her creative journey, Sav participated in the organization’s artist marketplaces, which provided some of her first opportunities to share and sell her work publicly. This exhibition reflects both a continuation of that relationship and a moment of reflection within an evolving artistic practice.
Exhibition Dates: April 3rd - May 1, 2026
Opening & Closing Events: April 3 and May 1, 2026
Location: Haus of Codec Art Gallery, 33 Mathewson Street, Providence, RI
Time: 5—8pm
