Don’t scrap disability benefits - tax the super rich! We oppose all cuts to benefits and public services and stand in solidarity with disabled people, sick people and elderly people. People on benefits are not the reason for our failing economy, they’re not the reason for the housing crisis, job insecurity, run-down high streets and boarded up shops. The county is falling to bits because of a neoliberal ideology which says the market should run public institutions for-profit, favouring privatised public services and chronic underfunding of welfare. The super rich class (who get away with unfettered exploitation) have benefited hugely. We’re constantly told about private companies logging record profits while bankers and CEOs enjoy big bonuses they don’t need. Yet we’re supposed to buy into the lie that disabled, sick and elderly people are the reason the economy is broken? We reject this false and harmful scapegoating of the most marginalised in our communities. We want to live in a world that cares for everyone, not a society based on individualism, austerity, ableism and class war. We want to live in a world that doesn’t place work, and our ability to work or not, as the most valuable thing about us. We are so much more than work! We are whole and complete without work! We shouldn’t even have to say that?! 🚨 Write to your MP now using the @sensecharity template 🔗 in bio. Quotes from David Graeber (@davidgraeber.institute ), @naomiaklein and Mark Fisher. Sending love, strength and solidarity to all trans people today 🖤 The constant harassment by the British establishment towards trans people - a community of just 0.55% of the population in England and Wales, and 0.44% in Scotland - is totally unacceptable. Let people live in peace! Cisgender women who exclude trans women to “protect (cis) women” are peddling a complete fallacy.

Migration is natural ❤️ migration is life ❤️ The country we live in today simply wouldn’t exist without migration - potatoes, St George, Jesus and the Royal Family, to name a few, all migrated here at some point, in some form. Britain is a country built on centuries of cheap, free, exploited, enslaved labour - for Keir Starmer to deny this and perpetuate xenophobia with a nod to fascist Enoch Powell is despicable. Just last summer we had whiteness race riots around the UK, encouraged and enacted by the far right. Pandering to fascism never works. The social safety net that once supported people is broken, rampant individualism and a race to the bottom prevails. Instead of punching down at the most marginalised - disabled people, pensioners, trans people and migrants - Labour could introduce a wealth tax to fund public services and support everyone who needs it. But they won’t do that. Starmer would rather mimic Farage and fascism, which won’t win them any votes. Migration is a natural part of life, it’s nonsensical to punish those who want to build a life here. Somehow we don’t seem to have a problem when it’s international elites buying up empty properties or overseas corporations deciding not to pay tax. Funny how it’s always the rich who benefit 🤔 Don’t fall for the lies. Our enemies are not our neighbours 🫂

Four of the Filton6 are to be sentenced as terrorists despite facing no terrorism charges! Shockingly the jury were denied knowledge of this fact. Reporting restrictions for the retrial of the filton24 have been lifted and this can now be revealed. Defendants were warned against informing the jury on why they took action under the threat of contempt charges. The judge has a known track record of defending the institution’s this case has put on trial. This is the first case in British legal history where a court will attempt to sentence activists taking direct action as “terrorists”! From the very beginning, terrorism powers have been passed strategically to benefit those who commit genocide and repress those who challenge the state. Terror laws must be abolished. Mobilise on the 12th of June at Woolwich Crown Court as the four convicted have their sentencing hearing. Stand with the Filton24. Retired police detective Nailah Sharif has hit back at London's top cop Mark Rowley, saying the role of senior police in a democracy is to ‘facilitate lawful assembly. To police the threat. To police the law. Not to police the politics.' Writing for Declassified, Sharif said she is ‘alarmed that senior officers might ban Palestine marches in central London’, adding that she has ‘spoken to dozens of serving officers who have policed the marches. All of them have said that they are peaceful. I have also met orthodox Jewish groups at the rallies and the descendents of Holocaust survivors’. Senior police now claim that the marches have driven the rise in antisemitism, without explaining how protests that include Jewish groups can be deemed to be terrorising the same community it is asked to keep safe. ‘While Mark Rowley is entitled to brief on operational risk, he is not entitled to characterise the moral standing of protesters. This comes at a crucial time when police need to be seen uniting people – not to be complicit in divisive rhetoric’. Read her full opinion piece on DeclassifiedUK.org

“I don’t blame the jury for their decision as the truth was withheld from them..” Jordan and Zoe of the Filton24 speak with conviction outside of Woolwich Crown Court after four of the first filton6 to start trial are convicted on charges of criminal damage. It is a travesty of justice that Sam, Lottie, Ellie and Fatema Zainab were remanded today by a system which is complicit in genocide itself. Even the prosecution didn’t seek to remand them, but an arbitrary decision made by the judge. The Filton24 acted to save lives with courage and compassion. And they should be celebrated.
