This project began in 2018 predating the Rammer Movement. At the time this was a very obscure touchy subject, it wasn’t as welcomed as it is now .From having to be criticized and questioned why would I create Art around a topic that held such negative connotations. To now seeing this explode in to a full blown counterculture. It’s amazing to say the least. I am deeply grateful to see this ambiance that would have never been possible with out all of you. big shoutout to all of the Rammer Clubs and Rammer enthusiasts. Thank you all. I knew then , what I know now “ this part of who we are, it’s what makes Chicago unique in it’s own right “ The Chicago Way
-This just one of many of the stories of Chicago and it counterculture. #RammerCity (Disclaimer :this in no way is intended to glorify or condone gang activity or promote violence)

Rammer City pt2.0 I never set out to make this project to glorify gang violence in any way, yet these are images we see everyday day. Growing up in Chicago we didn’t get to see many loweriders other then in magazines. but Rammers where just part of your commute. We couldn’t avoid them even if we tried. From gangster to neutrons to the abuelita everyone knows what this is, if you are from the inner city of Chicago. which for some hold very negative Connotations for it to be on a T-shirt, or a painting on the wall. despite of that, this is our story told from our point of view. for some it gives them a sense of nostalgia, to see an image that feels familiar to their city with out having to glorify it. Showcasing it on a World wide platform so for those Out side that have yet to be introduced to this topic, can see This is just one story, one of thousands. I didn’t create “Rammer movement “ which is just utterly ridiculous for anyone to claim. This is a part of the countercultures that have been established for years prior to us. I choose to depict it through Art, In a way that’s not romanticized but documented in a way that is true to what it is. -special shout out CAB 312 @cab312tfo and to @fane_one for always being solid and helping me developed my vision thank you CABRON! In #rammercity
Calligraffiti: a term coined by writers that hybridized the elements of both traditional graffiti with modern Calligraphy styles in this method I use multi media to accomplish the final results. From an initial roller calligraphy tag infused with aerosol techniques. I appreciate @pookie42 for looking out and having a dope space for us to roll up with different styles.
