This time last year @_wearesyn asked us to realise their unique concept design, showcasing @drmartensofficial ambassador leather at their flagship store in London.
A suspended window installation spoke to the tactile nature of the product, counterweighting the ultra-soft leathers with heavy, rough concrete...
Customers where invited instore to sit, touch and experience the material through a series of playful boulders...
A wonderful material to work with and as ever we were challenged to deliver the quality and craftsmanship to echo the design and the authenticity of DM's iconic products.

Lovely conceptual build on behalf of @_wearesyn at the Dr. Martens X NTS radio - BOOT FAIR event, held this Sept at the Truman brewery.
The area showcased the Made In England collection within a freestanding display crate (Designed by SYN made by us!) The area encompassed product display, interactive craft demos, storage and seating allowing DMS to engage with their customer in a tactile and inviting space.
This travelling concept will be used for future events and pop ups helping DMS achieve their sustainability goals of minimising land fill.

The Fred Perry shirt (designed and worn by Fred himself) is Made In England and has been Part of the British subcultural uniform since the 1950s. Each colourway has its own story and with 20+ colourways to display each season it is a mainstay of the Brand.
Freds creative team envisaged each shirt floating seemingly unsupported in a network of clear cases… HATCH worked meticulously on the design and production detailing to realise this, creating a slim and elegant modular system that would adapt to fit any space. Each shirt was viewed from all angles – there were no visible fixings or damage to the product and each shirt was easily updated via a simple drop on panel.
All acrylic was meticulously manufactured with UV glues for invisible joins and pristine polished edges.
The result is flawless – and the initial window roll out was further commissioned for use in the HQ, conference and at live events and is now incorporated as a feature fixture in all new stores.
