Born in Iran and now based in Brisbane, PAYMAN grew up playing Persian instruments, where he developed an early sensitivity to rhythm, subtle shifts, and tonal textures. This foundation sparked an interest in layered, hypnotic sounds — leading him to explore fusion music and eventually minimal and dub techno.
As the mind behind ZIRZĀMIN
@zir___zamin , a Brisbane event series focused on stripped-back, immersive techno, PAYMAN’s sets build meditative dance floor experiences through space, repetition, and carefully sculpted sonic detail.

@__hi_im_jack__ ) based in Adelaide, crafting minimal house with a focus on subtlety, groove, and deep sonic space. What began as late-night production experiments has
evolved into a sound that values patience and precision over big drops or obvious hooks. Their tracks favour mood and movement — built for extended blends, low ceilings, and systems that
reward nuance. The debut release, lnp001, marks the first instalment in a slow-burning catalog of functional and
atmospheric tools. It’s a self-released statement of intent: detailed, dub-tinged, and designed for
selectors.
As DJ’s, they favour deep cuts and long transitions, with an ear for timeless tracks that don’t demand attention but always deserve it.
As always, Minimal house, deep tech, and subtle Romanian influences-all delivered with precision on Turbosound and Function One systems.
