During the awards ceremony @ijonathanmoore and I kept whispering to each other — “what. is. going. on.” when we were announced for best original score, then cinematography… and so on. We didn’t expect “to win” anything because we weren’t seeking those titles. We already won because we did “the things” that got us there in the first place. But it was emotional, gratifying, and tbh a bit shocking. ngl I loved listening to peoples victory speeches tho 🎤

I’ve struggled to encapsulate what last week was, and it’s because there’s plenty left to reflect upon.
