Today marks 3 years since having my stoma surgery, so in celebration, Harry The Pooper HerošŸ’©, is raising Ā£10,000 for @crohnsandcolitisuk #harrythepooperhero #palomathestoma #crohnsandcolitisuk #mentalhealth By doing the 3 peaks challenge, non stop, while wearing this giant inflatable pool suit. If you’d like to donate, the link is here and in my Bio /page/harrythepooperhero 100% of the money raised, goes straight to Crohns and colitis. If you’d can’t donate. Please share this post, like or comment a purple heart šŸ’œ Thank you, this means everything to me. I’ve edited this video myself but the amazing @stevenlewisbarrett1973 @stevenlewisbarrett_photography came through with filming this video, highly recommend his professionalism and please follow his accounts as he’s doing this challenge with me. A special thank you to @idbsw8 and you know why. @mrcolitiscrohns thank you for inspiring me to talk about my stoma and struggles. I Love you all šŸ’œ

On Christmas Eve of 2022, I was five minutes away from death. My bladder was about to burst due to the fact I couldn’t pee because I had my catheter removed too early post surgery. The doctors informed me that when they put the catheter back in, I had 2 and half litres of urine discharge. What I now know is the bladder can only hold 700 mL of urine. If they didn’t put the catheter back in and my bladder burst there wouldn’t have been enough time to rush me to operating room I would’ve died there and then. I remember saying goodbye to myself and my family, the rest is still a blur to me. I should have died that day, it’s a miracle that I’m even writing this message .This is quite a vulnerable message to share, but I want to share more of my story because it’s important to me that people don’t feel alone in their struggles, if you’re suffering with colitis or Cronhs or anything in general please know that I’m here with you through your battles. I’m so proud of you and I love you for fighting through this. You are important and I promise you it’s worth stayingā¤ļø
