Remembering Tom | Wednesday 15th April 💜 Tom meant so much to say many people, and we recognise just how many people will want to gather and remember him, while surrounded by the community he created. Tom’s funeral will be held in his hometown of York next Wednesday 15th April, but we will also be creating spaces in London for those who can’t make the journey up north to pay their respects. Tom’s memorial service will be streamed at HarroWall, VauxWall West, and CroyWall. The service starts at 1:40pm, so we recommend arriving 1:15-1:30pm. Wear some purple. We’ll also create a small memorial at each centre for those who wish to leave flowers, cards, letters, memories, and photos. Once the service is wrapped up, all our centres will switch over to a collection of Tom’s favourite songs, which will play into the evening. We also just want to take this moment to thank everyone for the love, kind words, and support that you’ve shown us and our staff over the last few weeks. Tom meant so much to so many of us and the hurt is still raw, so bear with us, but there are rough plans for an event in London to celebrate Tom’s life and his impact on this sport we all hold dear. With love, the London Climbing Centres team 💜
