✨ Do you know a young harpist who’s ready to grow this summer? ✨
I founded Harp Quest because summer harp camp changed my playing more than anything outside my lessons — and I made friends I still have today.
That kind of experience stays with a young musician for years. The focused learning, the confidence that comes from being surrounded by other harpists, the inspiration of live coaching and masterclasses, and the feeling of finally finding “your people” — it can be truly transformative.
Harp Quest Summer Live was created to give young harpists a place to:
🎶 strengthen their playing and musicianship
🎶 gain confidence in a supportive environment
🎶 connect with fellow harpists from around the world
🎶 feel inspired, encouraged, and motivated
If you’re a parent, teacher, or friend of a harp student who could use a musical boost (and a little summer magic ✨), we’d love for you to share this opportunity with them.

Hi everyone,
Here’s a clip for you today.
The familiar Welsh tune of “The Ash Grove” has been used with numerous sets of lyrics, including the hymn, “Let All Things Now Living.” “Calon Lân,” meaning “A Pure Heart,” is a Welsh hymn, with lyrics written in the 1890s by Daniel James, known also by the bardic name, Gwyrosydd.
This arrangement is suitable at any time. The piece is 3 and a half pages long, with no lever or pedal changes. Partial lyrics for Calon Lan are also included.
You can get the arrangement in our shop through our website and through the 🔗 in today’s stories.

Here’s the picture: it’s the most unusual shipwreck in history. Somehow or other you have ended up alone on a desert island with just your harp. It’s interesting to consider how this might have happened. Did you swim to shore after the shipwreck with your harp strapped to your back? Or maybe you used it like a raft and your harp is what saved you. But somehow, against all the odds and flying in the face of reality, you ended up on this island with your harp. Even more amazing is that your harp is in tune, no strings have broken, and the weather is exactly what your harp needs to stay happy.
But just wait - there’s more.

When was the last time you took a moment to just play some chords on your harp and let yourself simply enjoy them? When you hear that rich, resonant sound, you know that this was what your harp was meant to sound like. Perhaps hearing someone else play chords like that was why you decided to play the harp. It’s goosebump territory, for sure. You can feel it in your bones, in your core.
