April 18-21, 2026. Feeling grateful to have written 20 new poems since arriving in Belo Horizonte, completing my book Terra Familia Global Bridge. The mountains have hugged me with inspiration and I'm excited to share this collection with you.

The Neogothic Beauty: The stained glass and the pointed arches create a very different atmosphere than the colonial churches in other parts of Brazil. It feels very grand yet intimate.
Perpetual Adoration: It is one of the few places in the world that has had the Blessed Sacrament (Santíssimo Sacramento) exposed for adoration 24/7 since 1937. You can really feel that “continuous prayer” vibe when you walk in.
The Connection to the City: Since Our Lady of Boa Viagem is the patroness of Belo Horizonte, being there during Lent feels like you’re at the very soul of the city.
