Harlem is a world-renowned cultural hub in Upper Manhattan, famously known as the “Mecca of Black Culture”. Originally a 17th-century Dutch village, it evolved through various ethnic shifts before becoming the global center for African-American art, music, and literature from the 1920s Harlem Renaissance to current day where the Harlem culture transcends globally.
One of the staples of the culture is the Nike Air Force 1 hence the nickname “Uptown’s”
