Looking back at last year I managed to film an incredible amount of footage that never saw the light of day, including this brilliant SF encounter with this year’s National Champion @dom.owoo and now professional boxer @omaraugustine which I have recorded in full.
Trying to juggle being a boxing fan, supporting the Amateur Boxing Scene and making a living from my work is extremely challenging and very difficult to get the balance right.
I’m going to aim to release more footage from last year leading up to this year’s box cup, and looking ahead, I think I may need to approach things slightly differently as people underestimate the physical demands of recording full bouts and toll it takes on your back and shoulders over 3 days, and how much interest there actually is in watching a full amateur bout?
Everyday is an opportunity to learn? and whilst I’ll forever be fine tuning and looking to be better than the previous year, it’s also important to acknowledge the progress and continued partnership with Haringey and documenting all I’ve managed to so far.
The following clubs are still required to upload their accreditation photo to Jablinked. Without these you will not be able to gain entry. That also applies to coaches. For many of you it will be a long way to come only to be refused entry. Please don’t ignore.
