I think we all know that the more time we spend on social media, the less happy we are. Well, this week, the exact opposite has been true for me.
It’s been a pure, unbridled delight to see so many friends and family celebrating Coventry City’s moment. It was like watching a constantly updating highlight reel; seeing 50,000 people in the War Memorial park living it up with Tom Grennan, The Enemy and Panjabi MC, families lining the streets decked out in their shirts and flags, Frank Lampard swigging a can of Stella outside the Marina Fish Bar. Literal Sky Blue Heaven. Never known anything like it. Even if we do go straight back down, we’ll always have this moment, and it will always make me happy to think of it.
Thanks for all the messages, pictures, videos, FaceTimes. I was very far away, but I promise, I saw every single one of you. #pusb 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
Shout out to @gellermusic for holding an improvised synth performance at the top of my local hiking trail. Had no idea any of this was happening until I noticed hordes of nature youths walking past my window.

The most joyous, thrilling, and galvanizing season of football I have ever experienced. It was everything I have ever wanted from the game and the city I love. I may never see the likes of it again in my lifetime, but to have had it just once was a gift.
Context for the last pic: 14 years to the month. Relegated to League One after a home defeat to Doncaster and fully aware that we hadn’t even reached rock bottom. Very few people interacted with that post probably because so many had already tapped out of the club - and I don’t blame them one bit. But we’re on the other side now, and I’m still City ‘til I die. #pusb
