GOAT 🐐 by @polyphia on the harp! I had an absolute blast learning this song! 🤘 The unique challenge for this video was how to replicate the Tim Henson’s (@thew6rst ) iconic guitar-playing as closely as possible on the harp. I used pedal slides in place of fret slides, harmonics (we do them too!), timed string muting, my harp version of bass slapping, and some string hits for fun :) Highkey want to write a full harp arrangement of this song one day because it works so well! Not my typical genre but…(hold your pitchforks) One day 6 years ago, a couple of secretive producers reached out to bring me into the studio. The only direction I was given was “do some Zelda shit”. Months later, I got a text telling me that the recording ended up on @badbunnypr ‘s Grammy-winning YHLQMDLG. Now years later, he’s headlining the Super Bowl! It is crazy that my harp playing on this song has been heard by millions around the globe - the thought makes my head spin. It makes me emotional to think that my playing has touched the hearts of so many people in different cultures and walks of life. This is why I do what I do. I hope to continue to help others create new positive memories with my artistry and hopefully make the world a slightly better place amongst the shit going on. Says @devinweitz in @people Photographing Devin + Gaby's elopement in the back country was truly a joy and highlight. It was inspiring to watch them from the planning process to living out the moments as they unfolded. Gaby + Devin reminded us of ourselves - choosing a backpacking elopement without ever having backpacked before. We knew they had the grit, the drive and they showed that as they throughly prepared for this day together. Creating core meaningful memories together leading into the elopement. Take away? Go for it! Do the hard thing. Don't let anything stand between you and how you envision spending this day together and starting off your marriage. As we backpacked into the fog, ate fresh berries along the trail and got higher in elevation towards the mountain there wasn't a moment that wasn't filled with awe. Setting up camp together, exchanging a first look, exchanging vows, dancing and singling. There wasn't a moment where they weren't them, the only people in the world. There to feel it deeply, be fully in it and soak it in. Backpacking elopement in my opinion are transformative. You hike in engaged. Hike out married. It's slow, it's disconnected from everything else but you two and the beautiful nature around you. Thank you @people for sharing this couples beautiful, moving story. We hope that it can spread the joy felt watching them elope and inspire people to follow their own dream.
