What do you give a girl who has it all? Clark knew Carolyn loved her dad's old Ford Bronco. She's big on nostalgia and tying her past with her future is important to her. With love and care, Clark restored that old truck to mint condition and surprised her with her wedding gift the night before their Wedding Welcome Party. This was the story we were given by the #VisualistRetreat. Paired with a photographer we've never worked with before, were tasked with creating an immersive visual story and challenged to collaborate in a way that was fun and engaging for our couple. While everything with Carolyn and Clark is a styled shoot, the challenges Jessa, Grant, and Deanna gave all of us strengthened our creative skills and our approach to collaborating with each other as a team. It wasn't just about getting pretty shots—it was about telling an immersive story while creating an experience. When we hear "we hired the Dream Team" from clients, it's the greatest compliment—that's when we know we've done our job. And being a visualist has given us a new and exciting perspective on being part of an amazing team. If there's anything Clarke and Carolyn love it's big adventures, immersive experiences, and coming to back to Nantucket—a place where Carolyn's family has had a home for generations—to get away from the fast-paced city life of Manhattan. This isn't a common theme among our couples. I'm kidding! One thing that ties all couples to this region is their love of laidback island vibes, fresh coastal breezes, with the warm and cozy memories of childhood that they're now sharing with their spouse-to-be. As wedding cinematographers who are story-based, we get to know the details of how our couple's love story unfolded throughout their time together. Thrilled that over the weekend Amelia & Jack’s heartfelt and beautiful Cape Cod wedding was featured on the front page of @stylemepretty ! Not only was their wedding the perfect blend of Cape Cod textures and colors with coastal home decor, the date also held an extra special significance, as they chose specifically to coincide with Amelia’s parents’ wedding anniversary. Amelia surprised her parents with embroidered pieces made from her mom’s wedding dress and stitched with both of their wedding dates, 39 years apart to the day. Just like the intention they set with their date, every detail and piece of the day was chosen with a loving intentionality and the deft guidance of their planner Stephanie of @capecodcelebrations .
