Join us for an intimate evening with writer and director Constance Tsang, featuring a short screening followed by a live Q&A.
Constance Tsang is a Chinese American writer, director, and educator based in New York. Her debut feature, Blue Sun Palace, was awarded the French Touch Prize at the 2024 Cannes Critics’ Week and was an official selection at New Directors/New Films 2025. She has also been nominated for Breakthrough Director at the Gotham Awards, as well as Best First Feature and Best First Screenplay at the Film Independent Spirit Awards.
During her residency, Constance is developing her third feature, an adaptation of The Blindfold by Siri Hustvedt. The film follows a caregiver working with an aging artist navigating early dementia, unfolding a deeply human story that explores memory, loss, and connection. The project is currently in development with Pastel, the production company behind Moonlight, Aftersun, and Sorry, Baby.
This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with a filmmaker whose work thoughtfully explores intimacy, identity, and the fragility of memory.
