Igor from @happynerding was so very kind to send me these beautiful modules to use and demo... I had been curious about the Super Sawtor for ages (even before it became briefly extinct) and the MMM VCF has THAT sound I was after.
FX AID PRO... yeah how about that huh. It's instant gratification but from the looks of the manual there's so much more to exxplore hidden right beneath the surface.
I'm so grateful to be in this position, these are just wonderful wonderful modules.
ADSR module is slimmed down to 4HP size, features the manual trigger/gate push button and fast/slow operation mode switch.
Available in silver and black colors.
New firmware features for the FX AID Pro:
- internal modulations are now have indicator lines on the main screen
- "tuner" menu added
- ADSR envelope modulator added to the existing three LFOs. It can be either manually triggered via "push" button or externally triggered via SRR input - SRR IN ROUTING should be set to ENV. Attack, Decay, Sustey, Release can be separately adjusted in wide amounts, both positive and negative modulation depth is possible, three types of envelope stages shapes can be selected.
For the update to take effect - reload your FX AID Pro with the desired effects list generated in the online editor.
"Cabinet Simulator" effect added to the Shaper section.
Video shows parameter settings to be equal to the Big Sky's Cabinet filter. But all three controls can be adjusted to the desired amount of High, Mid and Low frequencies.
2xSAM is used to bring the modular levels down, so as not to overload the Big Sky, and bring it back to be the same volume as FX AID.
